Terms of service

These terms apply when you purchase a paid career-support service from ApplyWell Careers through this website. ApplyWell Careers is a trading name used by a UK sole trader.

1. Services

ApplyWell provides automated Career Plans and a free CV checker. Each verified account can create up to three completed Career Plans per day, with the free allowance refreshing daily using UK time. The individual Career Pass costs £19 once and provides unlimited Career Plan generation for 90 days from activation, with no automatic renewal. Active company licences provide unlimited Career Plans to the staff places covered by that licence for the agreed licence term. Paid CV-writing packages are no longer offered for new orders; existing orders keep their original agreed terms.

2. Prices and payment

The individual pass costs £19 in total, in pounds sterling. Access is added after Stripe verifies successful payment. Company licences are invoiced at the agreed price, with any applicable tax and the licence scope stated before payment. Training-provider charges are separate.

3. Information you provide

You are responsible for giving accurate information and for having the right to provide any CV, vacancy information or other material you send us. We will not knowingly invent qualifications, employment, achievements or experience that you have not supplied or approved.

4. Plan allowance and saved results

A plan counts when the server successfully completes and saves it. Failed generations and reopening a saved result do not use an allowance. Repeating or changing answers to generate a new completed result uses another plan. Saved results remain readable while your account remains open, including after a pass or company licence expires.

5. Individual and company access

Individual access belongs to your account. Company administrators can invite staff and remove company access; they cannot read staff members’ private plans, answers or CVs through their administration page. Staff do not pay for included company plans. Removing company access does not delete an individual’s saved plans.

6. ATS checker and recommendations

CV readiness scores and career recommendations are planning guidance, not scores from a specific employer or hiring predictions. Different employers use different screening and entry requirements.

6A. Ask ApplyWell AI guidance

Ask ApplyWell provides automated career guidance and explanations based on limited context from the website and, where available, your Career Plan. Answers combine approved Career Engine explanations using an AI-assisted selection layer. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date and are not a substitute for checking official qualification, training, legal or employer requirements. Ask ApplyWell does not provide live vacancy matching, does not apply for jobs and does not guarantee employment outcomes.

6B. Live training and course discovery

The Training Explorer may search current pages on an approved list of third-party domains to surface potentially relevant courses, official guidance, free learning or funded options. These results are dynamic and may be incomplete, unavailable, changed after the search, or incorrectly described by the source. Inclusion does not mean ApplyWell endorses the provider, independently verifies accreditation, guarantees funding, confirms a course is legally required, or confirms that an employer will accept it. Always check the provider, awarding body or official scheme directly before paying or relying on a result.

7. No employment guarantee

We cannot guarantee interviews, offers, salary outcomes or employment. Hiring decisions depend on factors outside our control, including the vacancy, competition, eligibility, experience, interview performance and employer decisions.

8. Cancellation

For cancellation and refund requests, see our cancellation policy. Activating a pass does not by itself waive your statutory rights.

9. Quality and statutory rights

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law. If a service does not meet the required legal standard, remedies may include repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction where applicable.

10. Final documents and use

You may save or print your plans for your own career development. ApplyWell retains ownership of its underlying methods, templates and software. Company licences provide the agreed staff access, not ownership of the platform.

11. Third-party services

The website relies on third-party providers including Netlify, Stripe and email-delivery services. We are not responsible for outages or failures outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to resolve issues affecting your order.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a service, email applywellcareers@gmail.com with your order details and the issue you want us to address. We will review the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the version available when the contract is formed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

14. Governing rights

These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under UK law.
