Terms of service

Last updated: 10 September 2026

These terms apply when you purchase a paid career-support service from ApplyWell Careers through this website. ApplyWell Careers is a trading name used by a UK sole trader.

1. Services

ApplyWell Careers provides career-support services such as CV rewriting and optimisation, cover-letter support, LinkedIn/profile guidance, application support and related career guidance. The exact scope of your service is the package description shown when you order and any written variation we agree with you.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your order is not treated as paid until Stripe confirms successful payment. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and arrange any refund that is due.

3. Information you provide

You are responsible for giving accurate information and for having the right to provide any CV, vacancy information or other material you send us. We will not knowingly invent qualifications, employment, achievements or experience that you have not supplied or approved.

4. Turnaround and communication

Any stated turnaround is an estimate unless we expressly agree a fixed deadline in writing. Delays can occur if we need additional information or if you do not respond to reasonable questions needed to complete the work. We will aim to communicate material delays promptly.

5. Revisions

Where a package includes a revision, the revision is intended to correct or refine the agreed deliverable within the original scope. A request that changes the target role, substantially changes the brief or asks for a different service may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

6. ATS checker and recommendations

ApplyWell ATS Readiness Scores, role benchmarks, projections and package recommendations are guidance tools. They are not scores from a specific employer or applicant-tracking system and do not guarantee that an application will pass screening. Different employers, recruiters and ATS products use different criteria.

7. No employment guarantee

We cannot guarantee interviews, offers, salary outcomes or employment. Hiring decisions depend on factors outside our control, including the vacancy, competition, eligibility, experience, interview performance and employer decisions.

8. Cancellation

If you are a consumer buying online, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period. Our Refunds & cancellations policy explains how this works for services and what happens if you expressly ask us to start work during that period.

9. Quality and statutory rights

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law. If a service does not meet the required legal standard, remedies may include repeat performance or an appropriate price reduction where applicable.

10. Final documents and use

Once the relevant service has been paid for in full, you may use and edit the final documents we supply for your own job search. ApplyWell Careers retains ownership of its underlying methods, templates, scoring logic, generic frameworks and other business materials that are not unique final customer content.

11. Third-party services

The website relies on third-party providers including Netlify, Stripe and email-delivery services. We are not responsible for outages or failures outside our reasonable control, although we will take reasonable steps to resolve issues affecting your order.

12. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a service, email applywellcareers@gmail.com with your order details and the issue you want us to address. We will review the complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future orders. The version that applies to your order is the version available when the contract is formed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

14. Governing rights

These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under UK law.
